We collect information provided directly by users during registration, institutional onboarding, and research proforma submissions. This includes:

• User identity data (full name, official designation, departmental division).
• Official contact details (institutional email address, contact phone numbers).
• Institutional affiliation data and nodal officer credentials.
• Research manuscripts, technical drafts, and experimental test data submitted under IRC Proformas A, B, C, and D.

2. Purpose and Use of Collected Data

The collected information is used exclusively for:

• Processing, vetting, and evaluating road research submissions.
• Compiling the official annual national volume of the General Report on Road Research (GRRR).
• Facilitating peer review communication between Principal Investigators, Institutional Reviewers, and IRC Technical Committees.
• Assisting IRC Expert Committees in reviewing and updating national highway design codes and standards.

3. Data Protection and Confidentiality

All account credentials, draft submissions, and proprietary R&D data are protected using industry-standard encryption, role-based access control (RBAC), and secure government-compliant cloud infrastructure. Unpublished drafts remain strictly confidential until endorsed for official publication.

4. Third-Party Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or commercialize your personal information. Submitted data is only shared with authorized IRC Highway Research Board reviewers and collaborating CSIR-CRRI scientific compilation editors for technical evaluation.
